about erin

I craft plans for younger folx to much older folx who would like to maintain their balance, strength, and mobility and plans for folx who would like to have a movement practice that challenges them.

The folx I work with leave feeling more confident and revitalized in their body, and more comfortable performing full body movements; from pulling the cat toy out from underneath the couch to picking up their grandkids.

After holding 2 Vermont State American Powerlifting Association records for my weight class and gender presentation, participating in Crossfit, and completing a Spartan Beast I found I was I was tired of the "go to failure- 'till you drop" talk and I was constantly sore after my workouts. As a non-binary person I also found gender binary gym settings filled with harmful ideas of gender, body image, age, ability, and access.

It was during this time that I decided to find a healthier balance in my life.

After recovering from gender affirming surgery I took a kettlebell class. It was through this class and learning mobility movements and self-myofascial release that I began to feel and see a balance in my body. I wasn't super sore after workouts and if I was sore I had learned some methods to increase mobility in those areas which help alleviate soreness. The mobility movements also increased my ability to move more effectively and safely.

My Personal Training certification is through the
International Sports Sciences Association
